You can’t do food without chocolate cake / pudding or caramelised apple crumble cake …so easy to make!
A balanced diet consists of the five main groups:
- Dairy, meat, wheat, fruit, vegetables… and chocolates!
Chocolate Cakes x
Ingredients
- 125g soft margarine
- 125g caster sugar
- 150g self-raising flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 25g dark chocolate melted
Method
Place all the ingredients for the cakes, except for the melted chocolate, in a large mixing bowl and beat with electric beater until the mix is nice and smooth
Beat in the chocolate
Spoon equal amounts of the cake mixture into each paper case (12 normal size, 9 sensible size, 6 chunky size or one big “Aazam sized one” only joking… make that two!) filling them about three quarters full
Bake in a preheated oven, 180c /350F, Gas mark 4 for 15 minutes, or until cooked through. Check that a skewer comes out clean when inserted into the cakes
Place on a wire rack and allow to cool
Strong recommendation – eat one before you serve them to anyone else. When eating chocolate, never eat more than you can lift. Eat one square meal a day – a box of chocolates!
